And the first step towards achieving your dream is to have one. As I walked into my first network marketing meeting 43 years ago, I heard a phrase that changed my life forever, “Traveling the world, visiting my Businesses.”
At that time, I had only traveled once when we flew to the USA from Dakar, Senegal , my birth country. I didn’t have the ambition nor the money to travel the world.
But that phrase stayed with me for the next 11 years until it became my reality. Fast forward 43 years and I have traveled to over 108 countries and worked in more than 60 countries. And you know what the best part is? I am still traveling the world, visiting my businesses.
This is the power of a dream in network marketing.
It gives you something to work towards, to strive for, and to keep you motivated. And the beauty of it is that you don’t have to have a big dream of your own. You can borrow someone else’s dream until you have one of your own. When I was just starting out in network marketing, I didn’t have a big dream of my own. But I believed in the vision and dreams of my mentors and the company I was working with. I borrowed their dream and made it my own. And that is what kept me going through the ups and downs of my journey.
So if you’re just starting out in the world of network marketing or if you’re feeling stuck in your current business, I urge you to borrow a big dream. Find a mentor or a company with a powerful vision and let it fuel your drive and determination.
Remember, your dreams are the fuel that will keep you going towards your goals. They give you a purpose and a reason to never give up. And in network marketing, the possibilities are endless. You can travel the world, achieve financial freedom, and live the life of your dreams.
